Bullying - Information and Advice for Parents

What is Bullying?

Bullying is behaviour that hurts someone else.  It includes name calling, hitting, pushing, spreading rumours, threatening or undermining someone.  It can happen anywhere - at school, at home or online, anytime and to anyone.  It is usually repeated over a long period of time and can hurt a child both physically and emotionally.

Tower Hamlets Transition Support Service has put together a useful and helpful guide with information and advice for parents and carers who may be worried that their children may be being bullied or are the bully.

You can find the information leaflet in the resources section of this website.
